Gemma joined Portland House in 2017 and qualified in June 2022; she was then promoted to the position of Deputy Head Nurse in November 2022. She enjoys all aspects of Nursing but has a particular interest in anaesthesia and nursing consultations. She is due to complete a schedule 3 surgery course in September 2026 which will allow her to perform minor surgical procedures. In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her husky, Hunter and also baking sweet treats for the team at Portland House!
